Hi, welcome to the Kingfisher Apartments, in Arpora. My name is Linda and together with my husband Baz, we moved to Goa about 12 years ago, and started building our little bit of paradise about 8 years ago. Of course we’re totally biased, but we think the apartments and gardens are both beautiful, and if you’re thinking of holidaying in Goa, you couldn’t choose a nicer place or people to stay with. We live on-site and are available to help make your stay everything you would wish it to be.

The apartments are located in the beautiful area of Arpora. They are in quiet and peaceful surroundings,but situated only 5 minutes from Baga beach and 10 minutes from Calangute beach, by scooter, so you get the best of both worlds.The apartments have the use of a very large balcony, with pooltable and 47 inch television and seating area, overlooking the gardens and pool area. There is a waterfall with a small paddling pool, if you have children, as well as the swimming pool. Also, if you enjoy outdoor cooking there is use of a large barbeque near the balcony.

We have a swimming pool with sun loungers for the people who like to sun-bathe, but also there is a shaded lounge area at the side of the pool, with fans for children and people who can’t sit out in the sun too much. There is a pool bar with waiter service. The star shaped restaurant, partially open air, called “Grandma’s Kitchen” is open 4 nights a week plus Sunday lunch buffet. The Sunday lunch is quite famous in North Goa, it includes 3 different types of meat, Yorkshire pudding all the trimmings , about 20 different vegetable dishes, and eat as much of everything as you want. I have been doing the cooking as I am the Grandma in Grandmas kitchen, but this season we have a younger chef joining us from England, so when you have eaten enough Indian food, English food is available for a change. Any special occasions, such as birthdays, weddings or just a get-together can be catered for, your choice, your budget.

As we are only a small concern we can give personal attention and aim to please all our guests. We offer foreign exchange, scooter hire {international license is required} boat trips, private taxi trips, anything we can do to make your stay pleasurable, you only have to ask. Hope to see you soon.
